Clarity by Kim Harrington

Clarity "Clare" Fern is a part of a supernatural family. She can see things when she touches objects, her brother can talk to spirits, and her mother is physic. It's a gift and a curse. The tourists love them but the townies think they are kookie. At the start of the summer a girl is murdered and she is asked to help solve the case by her ex-boyfriend, who she is still furious at for cheating on her. But when her brother becomes the prime suspect she can no longer say no to helping her ex or the new Detectives hot son Gabriel.

I liked this story. It was an easy read with mystery, romance, and supernatural elements rolled into one. I wonder if the the police would really let three teenagers do detective work but it's a story so I don't dwell too much on that stuff. The sequel Perception will be out March 1, 2012.
